StreamElements Launches SE VideoDrop Live for Brands

At StreamElements, our offerings are designed to empower content creators as well as the brands who want to partner with these influencers. Today we announced SE VideoDrop Live, a first-of-its-kind video distribution offering that provides the first and only way to simultaneously and securely premiere movie, video game, and music videos worldwide across multiple live streaming channels and platforms.

As the entertainment industry’s core demographic continues to spend increasingly more time with casual gaming, esports, and live streaming content, SE VideoDrop Live gives brands a turnkey, effective solution for reaching this audience, while solving major challenges and pain points when working with influencers at scale.

With SE VideoDrop Live, StreamElements handles the video deployment remotely with cloud-based software tools within the streamers’ channels, across Twitch, YouTube Live, and Facebook Gaming. Influencers never handle the video before it goes live, simplifying workflow, accountability, and coordination for the brand while ensuring there are no leaks or mismanagement of sensitive assets. This is paired with an anticipation-building countdown clock that can be reset remotely at a moment’s notice if there is a client-side need for a delay. One of the other benefits of a controlled video drop is that viewers get to see the streamer’s reaction as they also see the video for the first time.

SE VideoDrop Live was recently deployed in beta with Liquid Advertising and Wizards of the Coast for the world premiere of their much anticipated and highly confidential trailer for Magic the Gathering’s War of the Spark. This launched simultaneously and internationally across 22 live streaming channels on Twitch, in perfect sync with their live airing at PAX East to kick off the MTG Mythic Arena Invitational finals. In addition to the video, the holistic campaign included game play, custom graphics and alerts, a countdown timer, and marked the first time a trailer was deployed simultaneously as a ‘stream takeover’. During the 48 hour campaign, over 580K viewers watched over 500K hours of content that featured in-stream branding and influencer endorsements with the final campaign resulting in 6MM brand impressions.

Wizards of the Coast’s War of the Spark VideoDrop

SE VideoDrop Live illustrates a drastic shift and improvement in working with influencers on large-scale, time and asset sensitive initiatives. It eliminates the risky and cumbersome efforts of sending files to each individual streamer, hoping they are correctly and manually uploaded and displayed in the correct size, resolution, and on-screen location, as well as airing at the precise moment across multiple time zones without accidental leaks or missed windows. In so doing, StreamElements enables brands to effectively leverage the incredible reach, value, and influence of live streamers.

We look forward to working with brands to use SE VideoDrop Live since it also means we can provide more sponsorship opportunities for StreamElements’ streamers.
